Hi! Welcome to my little space.
I’m a mama of two little people that are growing too fast. A wife to a beautiful man. This, my family, makes me want to be a better person.
I’m originally from Chile but I’ve lived my adult life in Oregon. I’ve learned and grown up in this beautiful place. Funny how I’m so far away from where I was born and these places are so similar in many ways. Maybe this is why Oregon feels perfect.
We are a life-learning family. We like adventures, camping, crafting, and doing fun things together. But we try for the most part to not forget to be *here*. Right now.
I love to take photos. I also love to knit, sew, draw, do paper crafts. And in reality, I enjoy learning to do new crafts. I’m learning to sew and quilt and love the quilts I’ve made so far. Most of them have been made for special people. I also enjoy cooking, and canning and preserving our foods. I believe it’s much better to grow your own foods and see them grow and know what you are feeding your family.
This year we also made reality an idea we’ve had for almost 20 years. We finally have our own bees and we are learning so much about them.
We are planning We are living a big adventure in our lives for this year and can’t wait to see what life brings us our way. We will be are sharing as much as we can here in this space and I hope you enjoy it.
We lived in India for 5 months, a big adventure for our family, and we learned and experienced so much. I started this blog then, so we can go back and remember more details of our days there. Since back, I have continued to write in the blog, to keep in touch now, with our friends from India, as well as our families and friends, and anybody interested in what our days are spent.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my small creative space here online and come back soon! Leave me a comment. I love reading them it makes it more of a conversation.
Have a beautiful day.

Love the blog — can’t wait to see what you guys do next! And the photos from Chile are gorgeous.
Hello Rebecca! Thanks for your comment.
We have lots going on right (all fun!) and wanted to make sure we don’t pass our days too fast and along the way miss any of these beautiful moments.
So good to hear from you.
Hi marcela,
Deryl and I have enjoyed reading your blog and watching our family most especially these last few months. Siena and Lucas are incredible young people we are so very proud of our sweet family. We hope you liked the box we set with Glenda we had fun putting it together. Also, we hope Lucas had fun on his birthday reading about his jumping beans. Travel safe. Love to all,
Laurie
Hi Laurie
I’m glad you’ve been able to look through my blog and see and read a little on our adventures. It’s crazy all the things we’ve done, and I’m glad we’ll have these pages to go through from home in the future. We’ll see you soon.

Love The Fotos Which You’ve Uploaded In Your Blog, Let’s See What You Guys Are Going To Do Next !!
Hello – I linked to your blog via Angry Chicken and her post about the homeschool science fair. I have a son who will 8 in the spring and I was wondering if we would be able to join in with a project?
(BTW – we have bees too; a top bar hive with a window – so fascinating to watch!)
Best, Kelly
Hi Kelly. Good you found us! If you can send me an email around January then I’ll keep you posted on the plans. Thanks for your interest and looking forward to meeting you!
Hi Kelly. I’m organizing this year’s science fair. Do you have an email where I can reach you?
My mother-in-law lives up the coast a ways from where you went. So, we have been able to see the beach in all the seasons. Wonderful pics. They really grabbed me because I recognized them and realized you are over here somewhere. I just started a blog, I am a mom with two boys and happily married for 13 years. What a wonderful sight you have.
Hello Alli. I’m glad you were able to find my pictures and my little space here fun. I’ve been posting here for about a year and a half, and it’s been really fun for me and my family, especially to go back and see what we’ve done.
I started the blog because we went to live in India for almost 5 months over a year ago, and I’ve continued to write and keep our days in here, because it’s fun to go back to these.
Hope you writing (as well as your family, of course) gives you lots of beautiful moments.
Thanks for coming to visit!

Did you say you have bees? Where?
Hi again. We have two hives in our yard. If you search my blog for “bees” you’ll get all of my posts related to them. Here’s one of the ones from this year.

Thanks for coming to visit this little space of ours.
Thanks for responding. I will be there sometime today. I have to wear nettings to protect my face first.
Yes a net would be helpful I think, and some people wear gloves. You’ll have to see what works for you. Good luck and have fun!
