The Changing of the Guards

The Changing of the Guards was something we decided we wanted to see, since it seemed like it didn’t take a whole lot of time.  With the tour, sightseeing bus pass we got, they had walking tours, including the one to see the changing of the guards.

So we decided to go with the group.  They said, they wouldn’t get too close to Buckingham Palace.  That we would see the guards, and the horses, the regiment. Though very crowded, it was fun to be there.  The colors of their uniforms, the marching, the music, the bands, the ceremonial part of it all.

Crowds and busyness, all in all, it was good to have seen it.  I’m not sure I wanted us to be all the way close to the fence, because the amount of people in there, would have of course been too crowded, too much for us, I think.  Maybe we can go see the Queen at another time.  Wouldn’t it be fun?
