The other day, actually before all the holidays, we joined a local homeschool coop for a class.

DSC_0057-smallWe made Milagros, a Mexican tin work, beautiful craft, meaning “miracles.”

Lucas was attentive to the explanations, even though up until this moment, he wasn’t so sure about the workshop.

He had a lot of fun.

Siena made these panda earrings for her.

And I can see we’ll be making more here at home because it was a pretty easy craft and lots of fun.

Hi Marcela, Siena and Lucas! Love the crafts you are making on this page! How do you keep the edges of the ornaments from being too sharp? And, what kind of metals are these and where do you buy them?

Hi Lisa. These were so much fun to make. We used a pretty thin sheet of copper or silver and you make the designs with a pen. It’s thin enough it doesn’t cut or get really sharp, if you are careful. It’s really fun.

Hola Mama.
