Founder’s Day : Evening Program

As we were leaving the house we saw the boys all dressed up and handsome.  Such a special evening.

Now we are heading back to the school in the afternoon for the Hobbies Exhibition (like science fair and show and tell combination) in the afternoon and a special program in the evening.

With very special guests.  The Vice Chairman of the Mahindra company, Mr. Anand Mahindra and His Highness Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia, son of MadhavraoScindia from Jai Vilas Palace here in Gwalior.  The same family dinasty who started The Scindia School.

Siena with the Vice Principal of the school.

The special guests are shown through the Exhibitions and then invited to the evening program in the Open air Theater.  They are welcomed by the School’s Marching Band

Everything and everybody looked so sharp.  First there was the music created from the music to the words by Mr Raja, the music teacher at the school, and our next door neighbor.  He’s amazing.  This is a short video of one of the songs they performed.

After the music, there were awards given, speeches, and other parts.  Ending with a play written and made by the drama teacher at the school.   The costumes were beautiful as well.

Mark and Lucas with Dave and Mithu.
