This weekend we celebrated Chinese New Year with some friends.
We’ve celebrated it, for many years, each one, bringing new traditions, new stories, new activities, new projects, and ideas.
The library has always had a fun program to celebrate it, but we didn’t go this year.
But we went to the store, of course, and got the ingredients for our “everybody-helping-meal. “
(Do you see the beautiful finished backsplash? Much more fun to take pictures in the kitchen now!)

From dumplings, to Lo Mein and tea scented eggs… and even with fire crackers, we celebrated the New Year, the Year of the Snake.
We had lots of fun! Thanks everyone for helping! Everything was delicious!
