:: science : owl pellets ::

For few weeks now we’ve been getting together with some friends to do science.  Something more formal than what we usually do.  An attempt to our new homeschooling days.

When we were in Idaho this summer, we found a lot of owl pellets that we brought home exactly for this occasion.

The kids looked through the pellets, collected the bones they found, sorted them out, and figured out where these bones came from.

I think they all really had fun.
