This past weekend we carved our pumpkins.

We gathered with friends.

We had ideas.

We helped each other.

We smiled and laughed.

We carved.

We cleaned.

We drew.

We were proud.

We worked really, really hard.

We saw stars,

And helped each other.

We were silly.

We shared our evening.

And our seeds.

And our ideas.

We got messy.

We had pumpkins of all sizes and shapes.
